Mission Completed: 'Spider-Man' Rescued By Real-Life Superheroes in UK

While in Hollywood movies Spider-Man is the one who saves human lives and helps those who get into trouble, real life can be somewhat different from what we are used to seeing on the screen.

A "parachutist" sighting urged people in Ryhope, UK, to call the rescue team deployed to the Sunderland coast amid fears that a human life could be in danger.

However, the object first thought to be a person, turned out to be a balloon in the shape of Spider-Man.

The rescue team that was called to the scene identified the balloon through binoculars and went out to retrieve it from the sea to prevent further call-outs.

"The incident was a false alarm with good intent and the person did the right thing to call us to confirm no one was in danger," a representative of the Sunderland Coastguard said, cited by the BBC.
