A Hard Nut to Crack: Gator Attacks Jaguar but Instantly Regrets It

A breath-taking fight between a jaguar and a caiman was captured by British wildlife photographer Chris Brunskill in the tropical wetlands of Pantanal, Brazil.

As seen in this incredible footage, the jaguar was swimming towards the shore, when the reptile launched a surprise attack on the big cat. The caiman dug its teeth into the feline's back and dragged it under the water, but in a few moments the unlucky predator realized he'd picked on the wrong prey.
