Famed Civil Rights Activist, Comedian Dick Gregory passes away at the age of 84; Boston activists push back white supremacists.

On this episode of "By Any Means Necessary" host Eugene Puryear is joined by Keith Silver, former special assistant to Dick Gregory, to talk about the legacy of Dick Gregory, his commitment to social justice causes, his willingness to risk his career and wealth for what he felt was right, and how he integrated healthy eating into political and social movements.

In the second and third segments host Eugene Puryear is joined by Bomani Armah, writer, poet, music producer, MC and art integration specialist and Rachel Silang, People's Congress of Resistance, to talk about the successful counter protests against white supremacists in Boston last weekend, the staggering and hopeful number of people who came out to denounce racism in the city, and the need to aggressively re-educate children on the historical legacy of slavery and genocide in America. The group also continue the conversation around Confederate statues, whether or not George Washington statues will ever be removed, and the life and legacy of Dick Gregory.
