A car crashed into a shop in Chatswood Mall in Sydney, injuring several people, including a baby, local media reported Saturday citing police.

MOSCOW (Sputnik) — According to The Sydney Morning Herald newspaper, the car rammed into pedestrians outside a shopping mall on Victoria Avenue. The police are currently treating the car crash as an accident.

One woman was taken to Royal North Shore Hospital with serious injuries, while four other victims are stable condition.

An investigation into the accident has been launched.
