"The trade intensity [between Russia and Mexico], as well as investment, is low. Here, we see great opportunities to expand our trade turnover. Mexico is implementing structural reforms, which are to spark serious, positive changes in economy, in such fields as education, competitive ability, energy and communications. There are good opportunities for Russian investment in Mexico. Mexican investors are also interested in entering the Russian market and investing in Russia," the ambassador said.

She also added that both Mexico and Russia have great prospects of enhancing bilateral economic relations.

"Our countries have numerous opportunities no one has yet used. Mexico and Russia are two large countries with strong economies, and there is a great potential for enhancing our relations," the diplomat said.
