Burkina Faso security forces killed three suspects who had attacked restaurant in the country's capital Ouagadougou, but there are still people trapped inside, Reuters reported.
Earlier, three assailants on a vehicle perpetrated a shooting attack on the cafe visitors which subsequently lead to a fire-fight with the security forces.
The security operation was underway, the security forces have cordoned off the cafe area.

Country's Communications Minister of Burkina Faso Remis Fulgance Dandjinou said that the deadly shooting attack might be a terror act.
"In the current situation, we cannot exclude a terror attack," Dandjinou said as quoted by RFI Afrique broadcaster.
