WASHINGTON (Sputnik) — Mattis underscored that the Defense Department must continue to use commercial technology in addition to keeping up with the fast-paced change of innovative technology, the release said.
"Today Secretary Jim Mattis visited Google headquarters and met with leadership to discuss innovative new technologies and methods to best leverage advancements in artificial intelligence, cloud computing and cyber-security for the Department of Defense," the release stated on Friday.
The pentagon chief will continue to maintain talks with Google aimed at solving future technology challenges, the release said.
