Black August serves to remind of America's Mass Incarceration and Systemic Racism; Police Body Cameras Fail Justice Again

On this episode of "By Any Means Necessary" host Eugene Puryear is joined by Dr. Philip Stinson, Associate Professor, Criminal Justice Program at Bowling Green State University, to talk about the evolution of police body cameras, the failures of cameras to help deliver justice in police brutality cases, ways to improve body camera usage. The pair discuss the decision by the US attorney's office to not press charges against police involved in the murder of Terrence Sterling, the officer in that case failed to turn on his body camera until after Sterling was shot and killed.

In a special third segment "By Any Means Necessary" host Eugene Puryear is joined by Perry Redd, Founder and Executive Director with Sincere 7 and Mondale Robinson is a 21st Century Race Man and works with the DFA and the Conyers Institute, to talk about Black August, the cyclical nature of police brutality and how things in America have not progressed for black people despite what politicians will tell you. The group also talks about affirmative action in its current state, the failure of "progressive" politicians to represent black issues, and how it is impossible for black people in America to not be political.

Today's talking points touch on Ben Carson's struggles as the head of US Department of Housing and Urban Development, West Virginia's Republican Governor Jim Justice wanting Federal government handouts, the complicity of US Senate Democrats in environmental destruction and police officers in Kern Country California go unpunished for selling stolen drugs from an evidence locker.
