Hillary Clinton announced July 27 the title of her new memoir recounting the events of the 2016 presidential election from her own perspective. The book, which is yet to be released in September, has already set the internet abuzz.

Set to be published September 12, the former Democratic presidential candidate's memoir promises to give an explanation of "what happened" — and that is the new book's very title, which generated the most interest online.

People took their smart, sarcastic and sassy jokes to Twitter.

Actor James Woods tweeted a picture of Hillary holding a T-shirt that showed the most of the country in red for Trump majority districts.

CBS late night talk show, The Late Show with Stephen Colbert, compared the book's revelations to "The Hangover," a hit comedy movie about a crazy bachelor party in Las Vegas.

Another late-night talk show television program, Comedy Central's The Daily Show shared an alternate cover for Clinton's upcoming book featuring the "shruggie," an emoticon depicting a person shrugging their shoulders to indicate a lack of knowledge about a particular topic, or a lack of care about the result of a situation.

Twitterverse even came up with a hashtag, #BetterNamesForHillarysBook, offering various book title suggestions.

Several juicy suggestions came from WikiLeaks founder Julian Assange. Here are the most popular:

Some other suggestions came from the titles of classic literature, like "Crime and Punishment" by Dostoyevsky, or recognizable songs, like Jay-Z's "99 Problems."

According to Amazon's online description of Clinton's new book, "Now free from the constraints of running, Hillary takes you inside the intense personal experience of becoming the first woman nominated for president by a major party in an election marked by rage, sexism, exhilarating highs and infuriating lows, stranger-than-fiction twists, Russian interference, and an opponent who broke all the rules."
