A representative of the Yemeni army, Brigadier General Aziz Rashid explained to Sputnik why the war between Saudi Arabia and Yemen might benefit the US. The recent reports of the Western mainstream media that Yemen possesses advanced weapons could facilitate the confrontation between the warring parties, forcing them buy more arms from the US.

According to the Yemeni Brigadier General, the US wants to produce a certain image that it possesses full information on the situation in Yemen.
