Bamboo Brawl: Two Giant Pandas Face Off Over Bamboo Stalk

A panda's daily diet consists almost entirely of the leaves, stems and shoots of various bamboo species. But bamboo contains very little nutritional value so pandas must eat 12-38kg every day to meet their energy needs. No wonder these two pandas were fighting over a delicious treat!

This adorable video was captured on live cameras set up at the Chengdu Research Base of Giant Panda Breeding in Sichuan province, China, and published on the iPanda YouTube channel, which is a collaboration of the Panda Base and China Network Television.
