A landslide in Central China killed at least three people, local media reported.

MOSCOW (Sputnik) — A landslide in Central China killed at least three people and injured 19, local media reported on Sunday.

According to the Xinhua news agency, the deadly landslide occurred in the Hunan Province following heavy rains that had started on Friday. As many as five people reportedly remain missing.

Local authorities are conducting a search and rescue operation on the site.
