A passenger plane from South Africa, chartered by St Helena's government, landed at the airport of the South Atlantic island of St Helena.

It was used for the first time since it was built a year ago.

The "effective" airport cost £285 million, though it is located on a windy hilltop with almost zero possibility to land.
