ABU DHABI (Sputnik) — The next Russia-Kuwait intergovernmental commission will be held in November in Kuwait City, the Kuwaiti Ministry of Oil assistant undersecretary told Sputnik on Thursday.
"The government commission between Russia and Kuwait will meet in November in Kuwait," Talal Nasser Athbi Sabah said.
Sabah said Kuwait would be represented by Oil Minister Issam Almarzooq at the session.
Russia and Kuwait are actively developing bilateral ties in different fields.
In February, the Gulf nation expressed interest in exploring Russia's experience in building nuclear power plants. In the military sphere, Kuwait was in talks with Moscow on the deliveries of Russian T-90 main battle tanks. In late March, the sides discussed cooperation in oil-and-gas and electric power engineering industries.
