Rock and Roll Legend: A Tribute to Chuck Berry

Legendary American guitarist, singer and songwriter Charles Edward Anderson Berry, better known throughout the world as Chuck Berry, passed away on March 18, 2017 at the age of 90.

Chuck Berry was regarded  as one of the pioneers of rock and roll music who helped define the sound and attitude of generations of bands and musicians.

On May 21, 1955, Berry recorded an adaptation of the "Ida Red", under the title "Maybellene"; the song sold over a million copies, reaching number one on Billboard magazine's rhythm and blues chart and number five on its Best Sellers in Stores chart for September 10, 1955.
