Wild, Wild West: American Couple Keeps Pet Buffalo

Meet Wild Thing, the 11-year-old buffalo that lives with Ronnie Bridges and his wife Sherron in Texas.

Ten years ago, the family had to sell the herd of buffalo to pay for an operation for Ronnie, but decided to leave one cub. Since then, the unusual pet has been kept indoors, as it is quite violent on the street. That might be an explanation for his name. Weighing in at over a ton, the buffalo barely fits through the doors. Wild Thing has its own bedroom and even has meals with his owners in the kitchen.
