UK Parliament Votes in Favor of Brexit Bill Triggering Article 50
19:47 GMT 01.02.2017 (Updated: 15:30 GMT 28.05.2023) UK parliament on Wednesday voted in favor of Brexit bill giving Prime Minister Theresa May the power to trigger Article 50 of Lisbon Treaty.
LONDON (Sputnik) — The lawmakers supported the bill voting 498 to 114 with a necessary majority of 384.
The bill will now be passed down to the parliamentary committees which are allowed to introduce the amendments to it.
