Central Intelligence Agency (CIA) Director nominee Mike Pompeo said in a testimony before the US Senate on Thursday that if confirmed for the position he would not use torture in interrogations.

WASHINGTON (Sputnik) — When asked if he would comply with an order from President-elect Donald Trump to reinstate the use of torture in interrogations, Pompeo told the Senate Intelligence Committee, "Absolutely not."
