As we say goodbye to 2016, John Wight hosts a one hour special of Hard Facts, with two special guests, to ponder over what was one of the most tumultuous years in recent history.

In this end of year Hard Facts episode, John is joined in the studio by former Labour MP Hugh Kerr and former UK Ambassador to Uzbekistan Craig Murray to pick over the political and geopolitical events of 2016, a year of seismic change and importance. Trump, Brexit, Syria, Chilcot, Obama's legacy, Wikileaks and more is discussed, debated, and analyzed in this hour-long special. They also look forward to 2017, musing over what the world can expect from a Trump administration in 2017 and beyond.

As Gramsci wrote, "The old world is dying and the new world struggles to be born; now is the time of monsters.'

Hard Facts is broadcast every Wednesday, from Edinburgh Scotland.  You can listen to other episodes here.
