The Rolls-Royce Corporation received a contract worth nearly $408 million to provide maintenance support for V-22 Osprey vertical take-off aircraft engines, the US Department of Defense said in a press release on Tuesday.

WASHINGTON (Sputnik) — Under contract, the company will provide MissionCare maintenance support for the V-22 AE1107C engines for the Marine Corps and Air Force.

MissionCare is a performance-based logistics concept that includes an engine hourly charge based on hours flown, program management, and other support, the release said.

The contract will also provide data, updates, management tracking and training, the release added.
