France to Boost Security in Light of Berlin's Christmas Market Attack
MOSCOW (Sputnik) According to the RTL radio station, as a person who committed the attack is still at large and can pose a threat to Germany and France, Le Roux decided to strengthen border controls.

The Paris police are said to have increased security at Gare de l'Est railway station where international trains arrive, including from Germany, Switzerland and Luxembourg.

Increasing security measures in France come following a Monday incident when a truck rammed into a crowd in Berlin, killing 12 people and injuring 49. Germany's Interior Ministry has labeled the incident a terrorist attack.
