The WARA Construction Company has been awarded a $46.3 million contract for construction of two air defense sites and an information coordination central building, according to the Pentagon.

WASHINGTON (Sputnik) — The WARA Construction Company has been awarded a $46.3 million contract for construction of two air defense sites and an information coordination central building, the US Department of Defense announced in a press release.

"WARA Construction Co. LLC, Rochester Hills, Michigan, was awarded a $46,341,754 firm-fixed-price, foreign military sales (Kuwait) contract for construction of two air defense sites and an information coordination central building, as well as associated operations and maintenance costs for three years," the release stated on Friday.

Wara Construction is based in Kuwait with a branch office located in the US state of Michigan.

Work will be performed in Kuwait, with an estimated completion date of December 3, 2018.
