Syrian Girls Pose for New Year Calendar Dedicated to Russian Troops

Subscribe
To express their gratitude to Russian troops, 12 Syrian girls, wearing modern variations of traditional Russian kokoshnik head-dress, posed for a New Year calendar.

"When talking about the situation in Syria, Western media often forget about Russian humanitarian aid, about Russian soldiers' unparalleled braveness, thousand[s] of civilians de facto liberated from slavery," the project's press release said.

Each model has her own story but they are united by their gratitude to Russian army men who are risking their lives every day, protecting the girls' homeland.
