Japanese Prime Minister Shinzo Abe said Friday that it was possible to concretize the plan he proposed on cooperation with Russia in the past seven months.

TOKYO (Sputnik) – Abe presented an eight-point plan for bilateral economic cooperation during his visit to Russia's southern city of Sochi in May. The plan covers such areas as oil and gas development and the modernization of ports and airports in the Far East.

"It has been seven months since I proposed the cooperation plan. Since then, we have concretized the said plan unprecedentedly quickly, with participation of interested enterprises of the two countries," Abe said.
