Biden, Ukraine Leaders Agree Anti-Russian Sanctions Should Remain in Place
WASHINGTON (Sputnik) — Kingston publicly suggested that Trump can take another look at restrictions on Russia imposed over the annexation of Crimea because they have been in place for a long time, CNN said on Thursday.

The Trump transition team did not immediately comment on Kingston's visit to Moscow and his remarks about the economic sanctions, the report added.

Russia has been targeted by several rounds of sanctions inflicted by Brussels, Washington and their allies in light of Crimea’s reunification with Russia in 2014 and due to Moscow's alleged involvement in the internal Ukrainian conflict, a claim that Russia has repeatedly refuted.
