HMEIMIM (Syria), (Sputnik) — The reconciliation center prepared withdrawal of militants from Aleppo in the direction of Idlib through a special corridor in the neighborhood of Salah al-Din. However, militants opened fire on vehicles that arrived for them. The reconciliation center said terrorists, taking advantage of the daily truce, regrouped and resumed hostilities, trying to break through the positions of Syrian troops. Subsequently, the attack by terrorists was repelled, and the Syrian army continued its operation to liberate militants-controlled areas.
"Yesterday the Syrian government troops, following agreements with militants, observed 'the regime of silence' for 24 hours in eastern parts of Aleppo," the center said.
