Second Part of WADA Report on Alleged Doping Abuse in Russia Released
MOSCOW (Sputnik) — Earlier in the day, the final part of McLaren report, commissioned by the World Anti-Doping Agency (WADA), said that as much as 600 Russian summer athletes and 95 winter athletes were involved in manipulations to conceal positive doping tests.

"In terms of next steps, the Investigation Team is providing WADA with an Evidentiary Summary for each athlete referred to in the Report by alpha-numeric code. Starting today, WADA will provide these Summaries to all IFs whose athletes are mentioned within the Report; as well as, to the IOC, the IPC and other relevant organizations," the statement read.

In July, a WADA commission led by Canadian law professor Richard McLaren presented a report based on the investigation results, in which Russia was accused of running a state-wide doping program.
