WWII-Era Guns Found Stashed in a Train Toilet in Russia (PHOTOS)

Customs officers uncovered a cache of weapons from World War II on a regional train bound from Kaliningrad to Moscow.

“The findings were made in the toilet, between the wall and the flush bowl. They included a part of a gun’s body with a telescoping stock. Allegedly, this is a part of a German-made machine pistol from the period of World War II. Moreover, three metal loading cartridges for a machine pistol were found,” according to Kaliningrad regional customs.

They added that the findings were wrapped in a towel and have been sent for customs examination.

In August, during the inspection of a passenger train Moscow — Odessa border guards in the Bryansk region found a box of ammunition. The cache was located in one of the train cars. A criminal case was launched.
