Putin Slams Lack of Reaction to Deadly Attack on Russian Hospital in Aleppo
MOSCOW (Sputnik) — On Monday, a Russian mobile military hospital in Aleppo was shelled by Syrian rebels, killing two military medics and wounding another, according to the Russian Defense Ministry.

Following the attack, Russian authorities said that Syrian rebels "had exact coordinates" of the hospital that means that those parties who support militants were also responsible for the deaths of Russian doctors. However, the US State Department denied giving coordinates of the Russian mobile hospital to the Syrian opposition.

"We condemn the attack at that military field hospital, we completely condemn it, it seems to be a targeting of a field hospitals," Egeland said, answering a question about a lack of response from the international organizations, including from the United Nations.

The official added that he conveyed condolences to the families of the victims on behalf of the United Nations.

Moscow believes that the attack on a Russian military hospital in Aleppo was a planned campaign, Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov said on Tuesday.
