19:28 GMT 06.12.2016 (Updated: 13:51 GMT 06.08.2022) US President-elect Donald Trump announced on Tuesday that Japanese multinational telecommunications SoftBank Group will make investments in the US economy, helping to create 50,000 new jobs.
WASHINGTON (Sputnik) — SoftBank Group will invest some $50 billion in US businesses, Trump said in a Twitter message.
"Masa (SoftBank) of Japan has agreed to invest $50 billion in the US toward businesses and 50,000 new jobs," Trump said.
