WASHINGTON (Sputnik) – US President-elect Donald Trump is expected to nominate veteran Wall Street banker and movie-industry financier Steve Mnuchin as secretary of the Treasury, national media reported.

According to CBS News, sources close to Trump’s transition team confirmed the forthcoming nomination.

Mnuchin served as finance chairman of Trump's presidential campaign.
