In China a man bought a luxury car worth $57,000 using over 10,000 coins and tiny denomination notes which he received from his buyers in a flour shop he runs.

The man, known only by his surname Guo, bought Toyota Land Cruiser Prado valued at 400,000 yuan ($57,000) on November 19 in Zhengzhou in Henan province in China. The largest denomination bill he used to pay for his luxury car was 1 yuan, local media reported on Monday.

According to the reports, Mr. Guo runs a flour shop and the all the cash came from his customers. Banks refused to change it as well as other dealers to whom he had addressed.

The man said that the sacks and cartons with money were so heavy that he blew a tire on his way to the car dealership. Then his relatives helped him to bring the cash. Four members of staff counted the money, and it took them 12 hours to complete the challenge.

It is not the first time Mr. Guo had bought a vehicle with small bills. Previously, he bought a car worth 480,000 yuan ($69,500) paying with coins, according to the reports.
