Some of the Afghans forced to leave their home regions by the ongoing conflict between government forces and Taliban insurgents can be the terrorists of the Daesh jihadist group, Haji Zaher Qadir, first deputy speaker of the lower house of Afghanistan's parliament told Sputnik on Monday.

MOSCOW (Sputnik) — The lawmaker also noted the spread of Islamist and terrorist propaganda among the migrants and called on Afghan authorities to carry out more decisive anti-terrorist operations as otherwise the Daesh members could settle in the currently peaceful regions of Afghanistan and destabilize them.

"About 200 families in every province are suspected in ties to Daesh or membership of the organization. It is very hard to verify, the proof has to be ironclad," Qadir said.
