WASHINGTON (Sputnik) — Philippines Chief of Staff Gen. Ricardo Visaya and US Pacific Command commander Admiral Harry Harris attended the meeting of the Mutual Defense Board and Security Engagement Board, according to the release.
"We look forward to continued, close cooperation in areas central to both our national and security interests including humanitarian assistance and disaster relief, counterterrorism, cyber security and maritime security," the release stated on Tuesday.
