"In monetary terms, our trade turnover has fallen significantly in 2014-2015, but in real terms, both exports and imports even began to grow this year. In real terms, exports from Russia have increased by nearly 3 percent, imports from Finland by 10 percent," Kozak told journalists following the meeting of Russian-Finnish Intergovernmental Commission for Economic Cooperation in Moscow.
The Finnish delegation was headed by the Minister for Foreign Trade and Development Kai Mykkanen, the Russian side was represented by Kozak.
Russia is among Finland's top export destinations and major import origins, according to the Observatory of Economic Complexity. Finnish exports to Russia fell to $3.3 billion, while imports dropped to $5.7 billion in 2015, the data provided by Russian Exports' portal showed.
