Russia, China Sign Contract for Delivery of Mi-171, Ansat, Ka-32 Helicopters
ULAN-UDE (Sputnik) – He added that Mi-171 helicopters were in demand in China as they can operate in high mountains, which is a typical terrain in northern Chinese provinces.

"This time we arrived in Ulan-Ude to receive two Mi-171 helicopters. This contract implies buying only two machines but we hope that other agreements will be signed – we are also thinking about buying Ка-32 and Ansat helicopters," the CEO told journalists.

Earlier this month, the Russian Helicopters signed a contract with another Chinese company – Wuhan Rand Aviation Technology Service — on the delivery of two Ansat, one Ka-32 and two Mi-171 helicopters, with an option for 13 additional units.
