Russian Air Defense Troops Take Part in Drills With S-300 Systems

Air defense troops of Russia’s Eastern Military District (EMD) participated in military exercises with the use of S-300 air defense systems in country's Khabarovsk Territory, the district spokesman said Tuesday.

MOSCOW (Sputnik) — According to the official, over 100 servicemen and up to 20 military vehicles participated in the drills.

"The launchers have moved to the specified area, passing through contaminated zone, S-300's combat crews repelled the attack of simulated enemy's sabotage groups," Alexander Gordeev said.

He added that during the exercises, the crews had worked out t search, identification and destruction activities of simulated enemy's air targets.
