Clashes With Police Erupt at Massive Rally Against S Korean President in Seoul
TOKYO (Sputnik) — The Yonhap news agency reported, citing organizers, that some 500,000 people are expected to participate in the most recent demonstration, which is half as little as the number of participants of the similar anti-government march held last week.

The protest brought together representatives of South Korean opposition parties, as well as members of numerous public organizations, according to the news agency.

Park’s approval rating reached its minimum, with only 9.9 percent of South Koreans endorsing the president, Yonhap reported on Thursday, citing the latest poll by Realmeter. The poll also showed that 73.9 percent of respondents consider Park should resign or be impeached by parliament.

Key Reason Why South Korean President is Set to Remain in Power
On October 24, the JTBC television network reported that Choi allegedly received drafts of the president’s speeches before they were publicly delivered, though she had never held a public post. The following day, Park officially admitted asking Choi for advice on speeches and public relations issues, and apologized for "causing public concern."

The revelation has caused massive anti-government protests in the country, with people and opposition parties calling on the president to resign. An arrest warrant has been issued for Choi, while the president expressed her willingness to testify in the case.
