ATHENS (Sputnik) – The incident occurred at dawn on Thursday, Zougla reported, saying that two people riding a motorcycle threw a grenade at the building causing an explosion.
The explosion slightly injured a police officer.
Following the attack, perpetrators escaped police pursuit in Athens' Exarchia district, Vassilis Dumas, the president of the local law enforcement trade union, told Skai radio.
Exarcheia is home to many Greek anarchist organizations, including those who in 2013 and 2014 attacked residence of the German ambassador in Greece and the embassy of Israel.
