Yields on 10-year US Treasury notes fell down 13 basis points to 1.73 percent amid the leadership of Republican nominee Donald Trump in US presidential elections, according to trade data.

Trump Has Winning Chance of Around 80-90% - Forecast
MOSCOW (Sputnik) — The yield on 30-year US Treasuries decreased by 6 basis points to 2.56 percent.

The ongoing trend represents the yield's largest drop since market shock that followed results of Brexit referendum in the United Kingdom.

The US presidential elections were held on Tuesday, November 8. Trump and Democratic nominee Hillary Clinton are the main contenders for the post of the new US leader. US Republican candidate Donald Trump has a chance of over 95 percent to win in the presidential election, The New York Times says basing on preliminary results.
