MOSCOW (Sputnik) – US Republican Party candidate Donald Trump’s potential victory would be a bigger political revolution that the UK decision to exit the European Union, Nigel Farage, the former leader of the UK Independence party (UKIP), who has advocated for Brexit, said Wednesday.

“Looks like 2016 is going to be the year of two big political revolutions @realDonaldTrump. Would be bigger than Brexit!,” Farage said on Twitter.

As the votes are being counted in the US election, Trump is ahead of his Democratic challenger, Hillary Clinton, with 244 electoral college votes against Clinton’s 215 votes.
