Trump Maintains Lead in Virginia With 77 Percent Votes Counted

Republican presidential nominee Donald Trump continues to lead Democratic rival Hillary Clinton in the US state of Virginia with more than three-quarters of votes counted Tuesday night, according to preliminary election results.

WASHINGTON (Sputnik) — Based on tabulation of 77 percent of ballots, Trump was ahead of Clinton, 49.8 percent to 45.2 percent, according to early results compiled by the Associated Press.
