'Middle-Class White American Revolt': How the Polls Got the US Election so Wrong
MOSCOW (Sputnik) Few minor violations were reported during the US presidential elections on Tuesday by the Organization for Security and Co-operation in Europe (OSCE) observers, Former President of the OSCE Parliamentary Assembly Ilkka Kanerva, who was observing the elections, told Sputnik on Wednesday.

"Actually, I haven't seen the OSCE Observers’ report yet but, according to my knowledge, few violations have been reported but they are more or less business as usual. That kind of incidents can take place but I haven’t heard of anything major such as hacker attacks or anything of that sort. Donald Trump is a new president and it cannot be changed," Kanerva said.

Trump won the US presidential elections with 289 electoral votes against Democratic candidate Hillary Clinton's 218 votes.

Earlier in the day, the US Republican presidential candidate's foreign policy adviser Carter Page has filed a complaint to the OSCE over the violations of election norms by the team Clinton. Trump's campaign has also filed a lawsuit against a voter registrar in one of the counties in Nevada for keeping early voting stations open after designated closing time.
