MOSCOW (Sputnik) — Following the cyberattack on the police website, which occurred at one and the same time with a Million Mask March, the page for the media turned out to be blocked. Numerous comments in social networks alleged that the website was hacked by the Anonymous group.

According to the Scotland Yard spokesman, the website is currently operating, but some elements have been blocked since yesterday evening.

On Saturday, thousands of protesters, many of them wearing Guy Fawkes masks participated in the Million Mask March in the central part of the UK capital. As the result of the clashes with the police 53 protesters were detained.
