Jake Siewert, communications chief for Wall Street bank Goldman Sachs and Bill Clinton’s former White House spokesman, told Hillary Clinton's campaign manager that she should be transparent about emails on her private server, a message released by WikiLeaks on Friday revealed.

WASHINGTON (Sputnik) — Siewert explained that most people who use two email accounts would likely understand why Clinton "favored one account over another" while serving as US secretary of state.

"She definitely needs some explanation of why she used her personal account and some commitment to making as much of the email trail public as possible," Siewert, referring to Clinton, told presidential campaign chairman John Podesta in an email dated March 3, 2015.

What to Expect From FBI's New Probe Into Clinton's Emails
The information was revealed in a new batch of emails from Podesta’s private account released by Wikileaks.

Previous emails released by the secret-documents website revealed that Podesta urged other campaign staff members to dump Clinton's emails after the New York Times first reported that she had used a private server for government correspondence.

Last week, Federal Bureau of Investigation Director James Comey said the FBI had found additional emails relevant to its probe of Clinton's email practices.
