Most of the documents are "near duplicates" of those already made public.

The State Department also expects to meet Friday’s court-imposed deadline to process 350 pages of Clinton’s emails, spokesman Mark Toner said.

FBI Director James Comey announced last week he had re-opened a probe of whether Clinton violated laws protecting classified information by using a private and unprotected email server during her tenure as US secretary of state.

On Wednesday, US Republican presidential candidate Donald Trump said at a rally in Florida that the cache of 650,000 Clinton-related emails recently uncovered by the FBI will likely show she was involved in illegal activities.
