"Everyone wants to have an expensive car. I can't afford it, so it seemed logical that I have to make the supercar by myself. We did a good job," the man told TV channel NovaTV.
The Albanian has been building the car for over a year, using a variety of spare parts. His friends, he said, were of much help to him. Now, his car is being admired throughout Kosovo when they see it on the road.

"I love sports cars, and am working as a car mechanic. I talked to my colleagues and asked — well, can we do something like that? It all started as a game, but as result we've achieved success, " Selmani said.

According to the mechanic, his car has a heavy 224-horse-power engine and is comparable with an original expensive sports car like a Lamborghini. The latter, by the way, costs about 1.6 million dollars, so Selmani saved a lot of money by making his own.
