The Russian Defense Ministry plans to put into operation more than 560 military infrastructure sites, including in the Arctic and Crimea, Defense Ministry Sergei Shoigu said Friday.

MOSCOW (Sputnik) — He specified that facility construction has been completed for the Black Sea Fleet's 126th Separate Coastal Defense Brigade in Crimea, while sites on two Arctic islands are in high degrees of readiness.

"On October 11, I approved the adjusted schedule of putting into operation the Defense Ministry's facilities. In compliance with it, 563 integrated objects are planned to be put into operation by year-end," Shoigu said on state acceptance of military production day.
