Northern Irish parliamentarians raise concerns over the impact a “hard Brexit” could have on the 1998 Good Friday Peace Agreement; and, 18 Colombian officials have been arrested on charges of embezzlement, and having links to the country’s right wing paramilitaries.

Despite the UK's Brexit plans being no further forward than they were the day after the referendum, several politicians from Northern Ireland have been raising concerns over the impact Brexit may have on the Good Friday peace deal. We speak to Martina Anderson, Sinn Fein MEP, and Anthony Soares, Deputy Director of the Centre for Cross Border Studies.

Eighteen state officials in Colombia have been arrested on charges of embezzlement and links to the United Self-Defense Forces paramilitary group (or AUC), which was officially demobilized last decade, during President Álvaro Uribe’s administration. We speak to Dr Andrei Gomez-Suarez, a founding member of British Academics for a Colombia Under Peace.
