Russia's Net Capital Outflow Totals $9.6Bln in Jan.-Sept. 2016

Russia's net capital outflow in the first nine months of 2016 totaled $9.6 billion, the Bank of Russia reported on Tuesday.

MOSCOW (Sputnik) — The figure indicates a five-fold decrease from $48.1 billion registered in the same period last year.

In September, the Bank of Russia lowered its forecast on Russia's capital outflow in 2016 from $25 bln to $14 bln, and in 2017 from $25 bln to $18 bln.

The average net capital outflow in 2018-2019 is expected at $25 bln, according to the Central Bank.
